Located to the north-east of Bromyard, Porthouse Farm is a 10 acre brownfield/agricultural site in Herefordshire. We were contracted by the local Council to negotiate with the EA over flooding issues, as part of the process of establishing a residential masterplan. Our design forms a series of terraces, stepping down the site to the floodplain of the River Frome. Approximately 150 units are arranged around a series of landscaped courts, incorporating significant proportion of live-work as well as a full SuDS system and habitat enhancement. The scheme has been granted outline planning consent.
