This phased development includes wholesale refurbishment and fit out of the original College buildings, linked closely to a new Learning Resource Centre, which will also become a central administration hub and main entrance. New full height atria will unify new and old, providing generous circulation, exhibition and recreation spaces, and visually connecting the College to the Cathedral spire. Both the atria and double skin cladding serve to animate the public facades and are integral to achieving comfortable working conditions within the college, without the need for full air conditioning.
